How To Astral Project Safely Astral projection is when your soul leaves your body and gets to travel around this dimension and into other dimensions. When you are travelling, your soul can go anywhere and meet anyone, including higher vibrational beings and lower vibrational beings. When your soul leaves your body, it is attached to a cord. This cord is your lifeline back into your body. When you die, it is this cord that becomes detached that allows your soul to forever be free of your physical body. Is Astral Projection Dangerous? If your soul is out of your body and only attached by a cord, you are probably wondering if it is dangerous. The straight up answer to this question is yes. While it is very unlikely your cord will be cut or detached from your body, when you are astral travelling you can encounter all types of beings. These include lower vibrational beings who may try to suck your energy or confuse you when you are heading back to your body. All this means is that if you are going to astral project, you need to ensure that you are well protected by your angels and guides. How Do You Astral Project? Your soul does not really want to leave its body, so astral projection can be difficult. The first and most important step is to ensure that your room is well protected and that your energy is vibrating on a high frequency. If you’re totally new to astral projection this is totally safe. Just relax, keep a clear mind, and know that you always have full control. If you want to go back into your body you need only to think about it. Step 1: Relax Lie down in a comfortable position making sure your physical body is properly covered so it is warm and comfortable. Relax your mind and body. You may choose to meditate or perform a series of very deep breaths. In and out, always very slowly. Make sure you inhale deeply and that your breaths are not shallow. If you know a good body relaxation meditation, use it. If not, you can tense your muscles and release them one at a time. Work from your toes to the top of your head. Step 2: Get Into A Hypnotic State Allow yourself to drift off to near sleep, but in that moment just when you feel yourself falling asleep, try to keep your mind alert without waking up the rest of your body. This can be tricky to do, but basically it requires you to stay completely relaxed, but aware of your entire body. After you feel fully relaxed, you need to enter a hypnotic state where your mind is at the edge of sleep and no further. Now lie down and focus on an object. Stare at it until you can visualise it perfectly even with your eyes closed. One technique to help you with this stage is to look at the colours behind your eyes. You may start to see them making shapes or patterns. By focusing on these colours and patterns, it will help you to stay aware of the fact that you are sleeping. Step 3: Get Into A Deeper State Of Relaxation Now it’s time to enter a deeper state of relaxation. Your eyes are still closed and you are still visualising your chosen object. But now you look around you with your eyes closed. Gaze into the darkness. After a while you may see light patterns dance across your eyes. Just ignore them and they will go away. Once they disappear you’ve entered a deeper state of relaxation. You will be so relaxed that you are no longer aware of your physical body. Once you reach this level, it’s time for step 4. Step 4: Enter A State Of Vibration This is the most vital step and it’s when you enter into a state of vibration. This state may take longer if you are new to this. When you do begin to feel the vibrations, your astral body has begun to leave your physical body. Just acknowledge this and feel the vibrations. Once you have mastered this stage, you will start feeling a vibration or a buzzing. This buzzing means that your soul has separated from the body but is still inside of it. To astral project, you need to get your soul up and out of your body. Step 5: Control The Vibrations Focus on the vibrations as they travel throughout your body. Using your willpower, control them with your mind. As you feel them, try to control the frequency of the waves as well as stopping and starting them. Allow the buzzing to get louder and stronger, and start preparing yourself to shift out of your body. You may have to put some effort into manifesting your soul to get out. This does take time and proactive, but once your soul is out you should be able to look back at your body and see yourself sleeping. Step 6: Imagine The Rope Here is where you will exert your control and willpower. Imagining that there is a long rope hanging right above you. Without opening your eyes or moving your physical body, visualise yourself reaching up with one hand towards the rope. Once you grab a hold of the rope, bring your hand back into your physical body, slow down the vibrations, and end the session. After you become fully alert and awakened, move on to step 7. Step 7: Rinse And Repeat – With Your Whole Body Now that you’ve done a partial separation you’re ready to try the whole body. Repeat the previous 6 steps but this time, don’t stop at just one hand. Imagine your other hand coming out of your physical body and reaching for the rope. Slowly place hand over hand on the rope as if you were pulling yourself up. You may feel a little dizzy at this point and the vibrations will buzz at a higher frequency. Often people here feel paralysed or shrink back into their physical bodies. But concentrate on climbing the rope. Don’t stop until you feel your entire self separating from your body. Finally you’re free! You will find yourself hovering over your body at this point.
Once you are out, there is no limit on where you can go and what you can do. Just be aware that astral travel can be draining to your physical body so keep this in mind if you are just starting out. When you are astral travelling, you can also go back to your body anytime using the power of your mind. How Can You Stop Astral Projection? If you are astral projected unconsciously, this is actually referred to as an out of body experience. If you are having frequent out of body experiences it is usually a sign of trauma or spiritual awakening. The best way to stop out of body experiences is through grounding your energy and coming to acceptance with your physical reality. Going to bed on a full stomach can also help to curb out of body experiences.
